A Quick Guide to Inviting
Inviting someone to church doesn't have to be complicated. Here are three simple steps to help you share Easter with the people in your life.
1. Start with Prayer Before you send a text or hand out an invite card, take a moment to pray. Ask God to highlight one or two specific people in your life—friends, neighbors, or coworkers—who might need to experience hope and community this Easter.
2. Make it Personal People are far more likely to say "yes" to a personal invitation than a generic social media post. Shoot them a quick text, give them a call, or hand them an invite card over coffee. (Not sure what to say? We’ve got you covered with the copy-and-paste scripts below!)
3. Be Their Host Walking into a new church can be intimidating. You can remove that pressure by offering to be their host! Let them know you will meet them at the front doors, save them a seat so you can sit together, or invite them to grab lunch with you after the service.

The Family Invite (Perfect for parents): Hey! We are heading to Covenant Church for Easter on April 5th. We are going to the [9:00 / 10:30] service, and right after the 10:30 service, they are throwing a huge egg hunt with bounce houses for the kids! We'd love for your family to join us. Let me know if you guys are free!
The Casual Check-In: Hey! Hope you're having a great week. I'm going to an Easter service at Covenant Church on April 5th and wanted to see if you wanted to come with me? They have services at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. No pressure at all, but I'd love to save you a seat!
